grid assignment

7 deadly sins confessional

  1. I love the texture and design of the cabinet. The stick ons on top were a good example. Sid the Sloth is perfect.

However I think you need more power in exploiting the sins. Add array of color or something more powerful to express the sins. Remember that in religion, the sins signified being obsessive, spiritually dangerous, and relentless.

I just think you could add more to it. Add the power to the piece. The wood on the cabinet just seems to add empty space and the stick ons not taken seriously to your title.

You could add garland or tinsel to add more texture. For the sins, think powerful and dark. This is all just my opinion on trying to help.

    Good job overall though :)

Be sure to keep the cabinet. It looks cool and sure to have history.

  2. Your idea of the confessionary is outstanding! I would have never thought of that. I also liked how you symbolized the seven deadly sins.

It reminds me of when I had to go to confession when I was younger and almost resembles exactly how the confessionary window looked-kinda erie! I like it though! Great work- it's interesting and creative! well done :)

  3. Literally, the sound "AAAAhhhh" came out of my mouth when I heard that this represented a confessional - very perceptive idea. Maybe you could represent the deadly sin with color blocks in the grids.

    Nice.

  4. This was a very interesting idea and the way it was portrayed worked well. It was hard to see the images maybe they could have been darker or have some sort of light inside to make it easier to see. I did really like how u put the 7 deadly sins on the top of the box it really tied in well with the idea of a confessional

  5. I liked the idea of using a jewelry box, and using the two different doors as a confessional space was a cool interpretation. I love the top of it and how you showed each of the seven deadly sins. Definitely different from the others we saw--I mean that in a good way.

  6. Doing the confession theme with the jewelry box was a really unique idea. It would have been really cool if you used a full sized closet/armoir.

  7. This was well-made. I like that it was a layered piece of work starting from the outside then once the doors opened up it was a new piece. Very creative.
