  1. I really like your approach. You brought you xerox to life and interacted with it.

    Nice.

  2. After talking with you about your ideas, this is not what I expected, but I love it. I think you made a good decision going with this concept. Really interesting.

  3. Wow, I loved the risk you used into making this piece. The arm, believe it or not, looks like a skeleton arm since the two sides are not completely glued on. Nice!

I love the mystery behind the piece. I was curious if there really was a body underneath the sheet at first. The effect a sheet on an iron board, with a balloon head really adds a great sense of misdirection. The green tool bag (the scalpel kit), great additive prop (creepy).

The paint really added the effect of blood. The torso xerox overlay with cardboard body was awesome, great 3-D effect. You really captured the feeling of like you're looking into someone. The dorm background in your pick helps too, I feel like I'm either in a hospital room or a morgue.

Oh and one more thing. Your hand pointing was a good creepy effect too. It could represent so many meanings, especially pointing to someone as the killer or the body will one day resurrect and come after.

Excellent art piece of storytelling. I really liked it.

    Great job!

  4. bianca this was soo cool!!
i can totally see what inspired you..watching all of Orlan's surgeries.
I love how you only showed certain parts of the body and the rest was left to the imagination. And I love that you weren't afraid to make it bloody.
    Great job girl!

  6. this was a very interesting approach to the project!! i loved the whole concept of being able to see inside of the persons body. i also loved that your project was more then just images glued onto a poster board. which most of us including myself decided to do.

  9. I really love the fact that you had to lay on top of the copy machine to do this. The brightness of the red blood reminds me of the movie 300, which gives it an eerie feel though it is not completely realistic. The surgical table ironing board was a great idea, and I like how you used the green cover of the ironing board to make a doctor's hat. In conclusion, fuck surgery.

  10. Wow. That's all I can really say. You really stepped out of the box for sure on this project. I never would have thought to do this for the xerox project. I loved it even though it kind of creeped me out a bit =)

  11. You brought the xerox project to life.... ...and then you murdered it. This was awesome and definitely like the big scale approach you took to it.
